Today I caught 1 turtle with Ty in a kayak. After that I caught five turtles...1 girl and 4 boys. We catches thm in one foot deep. We catched them in the swampy area.

Nuts; I just deleted my comment, lol. We'll try this again: Eth: any plans to make turtle gumbo? Your great-grandparents would've had (snapper) turtle cookouts with friends and neighbors. I've heard that turtle tastes like chicken, but I wonder... Anywho: any idea how large snappers can get here in Minne? And furthermore, how can you tell the difference between a male and a female painted? Your Uncle Joe accidentally caught a big fella by the tail a few years back from the Mississippi with your Uncle Ryan...but that's yet another story.
